PLANETS - LP RECORD
“PLANETS is beautifully paced, building from the opening “Fona,” to the wailing free jazz of the appropriately named “Pyra.” The liner notes state it’s their first recording together, but these musicians clearly know each other well, and it’s a world class group, so I certainly hope either Scatter or other record labels keep on documenting them.”

Demonic invocation of the unseen world, PLANETS is a low music of the earth. It joins the subterranean roar with functional spells of protection, ancient hymns of resistance, parades, material rhythms, animal diction and cosmic noise, opening the gates to nowhere.
Capturing that time when the planets aligned (January 2025) five musical orbits converge. A parliament of musical histories fix the movement of change, each exerting its own gravitational pull. Now leading, now lending, rising, revolving, shadow and light, colliding and coinciding they go.
The listener, entering this ever-evolving field, makes the music happen, composing and transmitting their own unique experience back into the collective sound.
